Whether pedaling along America’s first rail-to-trail route on the Elroy-Sparta State Trail, stepping into the legacy of astronaut Deke Slayton at the museum in his honor, or celebrating Wisconsin’s cranberry heritage at the nation’s largest cranberry festival, there’s always something new to uncover. The county’s breathtaking Driftless Region landscape offers endless outdoor adventures, from scenic trails to vibrant festivals that capture the spirit of the area.
