Pepin County, WI (April 2022): Visit Pepin County is set to release “Get Outside! Outdoors in Pepin County”. A summer-focused campaign highlighting not only its outdoor recreation activities of Pepin County but encouraging visitors to get out of their houses, pack up the van, and head to Pepin County for food, drink, shopping, attractions, and outdoor recreation in the cities, villages, towns and small communities in this region.

Pepin County Announces its 2022 “Get Outside! Outdoors in Pepin County” Campaign!The campaign is set to run through September and is geared toward area drive markets to encourage outdoor enthusiasts and families to enjoy the outdoors and many offerings in this area which also borders the Mississippi River. Pepin County offers a variety of accommodations, eateries, shopping, and silent sports activities; the County has an abundance of outdoor experiences catering to the amateur to the experienced outdoorsmen.

Community highlights include charming downtowns, boating opportunities, local farmers markets, expansive hiking including Maiden Rock Bluff and the river delta Tiffany Bottoms State Natural Area to wildlife viewing in the grasslands, hardwood forests, and bottomlands.

The purpose of this program is to provide tourism promotion and tourism-development organizations assisting with restoring economic activity in Wisconsin following the COVID-19 pandemic. Funding for this assistance was provided to Wisconsin by the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
