New Survey Added to The City of La Crosse’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

La Crosse, WI (October 2023): The City of La Crosse’s Forward La Crosse Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is adding a new survey at forwardlacrosse.org. The survey allows respondents to answer questions about walking only, biking only, or both walking and biking and hopes to identify prioritized destinations, identify barriers to increasing  pedestrian and cyclist participation, inquire about ways to enhance walking convenience, and request respondents to evaluate visual representations of various infrastructure.  Infrastructure evaluations include sidewalks adjacent to the road, 6′ sidewalks with a buffer from car traffic, 10′ shared use paths separated from vehicles by a buffer and shared with cyclists, 10′ sidewalks along commercial roads buffered from traffic by a parking lane, and more.
