River Travel Magazine Announces “2022 Best of the River” Winners!

National Rivers, USA: River Travel Magazine is announcing the survey results of the 2022 Best of the River contest at rivertravelmagazine.com.

Survey takers voted on the “2022 Best of the River” including categories covering Best Outdoor Adventures, Best Food & Drink, Best Attractions, and Best Places to Stay in river communities throughout the United States. With both nominations and votes, thousands of visitors and locals participated in choosing their favorite river community picks for over 75+ categories.

This year, the survey included some of the best attractions, restaurants, and accommodations along rivers, but all river communities in the US were eligible to nominate themselves in a number of categories! River Travel Magazine hopes the winner announcements will shine a light on the valuable attractions, eateries, and accommodations along national rivers around the US, to promote tourism and the growth of these river communities and businesses.

Multicategory winners included Lake Austin Spa Resort (Austin, TX), the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (Indianapolis, IN), Colonial Williamsburg (Williamsburg, VA), Graceland (Memphis, TN), Ristorante Bartolotta (Wauwatosa, WI), Bloedow Bakery (Winona, MN), and Red Rocks Amphitheater (Denver, CO). But there were many more celebrated winners for attractions, accommodations, food & drink, and outdoor adventures. River Travel Magazine congratulates all of the 2022 Best of the River winners and extends a thank you to everyone who participated!

About River Travel Magazine
River Travel Magazine, an online publication and podcast once exclusively focusing on communities and attractions nearby to both sides of the Mississippi River’s Great River Road, from Lake Itasca to New Orleans, is now expanding content and stories to include coverage and podcasts on the tributaries and rivers throughout the US.

For the last few years, River Travel Magazine has been publishing new weekly stories, podcasts, and announcements exclusively about the Great River Road (currently at 400+ stories & podcasts) but has seen an increased interest in visitors and outdoor enthusiasts searching and asking for content specific to River vacations elsewhere in the nation. We feel River Travel Magazine is the perfect avenue to celebrate the many Rivers in the United States. Learn more.
