West Coast of Wisconsin Kicks Off the “Thankful • Grateful” Holiday Celebration this Holiday Season

An Eight-Week-Long Festivity Along the West Coast of Wisconsin

West Coast of Wisconsin (September 2024): Each weekend from November 2nd through December 21st finds the charming villages of the West Coast of Wisconsin – Bay City, Maiden Rock, Stockholm, Pepin, and Nelson filled with nostalgic celebrations of the Season. A nostalgic step back into holidays in the small river villages.

The West Coast of Wisconsin invites visitors to experience the charm of small towns, whether for an extended weekend or just one night. Over eight weekends, enjoy holiday markets, food, drinks, shopping, and warm, welcoming accommodations along the West Coast.

November Weekend Highlights:

November 2nd – 3rd: Thankful for Those We Love

Celebrate your cherished friends and loved ones with meaningful time spent at the special events along the coast.

  • Nov 1st-3rd: Tin Roof Boutique kicks off the holidays with Christmas Elegance, Enjoy in-store events and follow us on Facebook for details.
  • Nov. 2nd: Hugga Bugga’s Sconnie Sota Girls Friendship Celebration, and Sandy’s Bites and Beverages Bash in the Back Room
  • Saturday Night Out in Pepin: Live music and specials at various restaurants and bars.
  • Nov. 3rd: Brunch with New York Times-featured author Mary Logue and artist Dodie Logue at Stockholm Pie.
  • RiverTime offers live music every weekend in November and December.
  • Art Orchard Gallery will showcase printmaking and painting demonstrations every Saturday.

Nov. 9th & 10th: Thankful for the Season – Food & Fun

Kick off your holiday entertaining by exploring wineries, distilleries, gourmet shops, bakeries, and restaurants across all five Villages.

  • Best of Wisconsin Foods, Spirits and Wine tasting at Stockholm Pie’s Marketplace (Nov 9th)
  • Sandy’s (Nov. 9th): Free apron with the purchase of comfy cooking clothes.
  • Stockholm Pie (Nov. 10th): Holiday Pie Flight—sample our newest holiday pies.
  • RiverTime: Live music every weekend in November and December
  • The DitchLilies on Nov. 09 from 4-6 PM at Township 23 Distillery.
  • Art Orchard Gallery: Printmaking and painting demos every Saturday, 11 AM-4 PM.

Nov. 16th & 17th: Thankful For The Season – Let the Celebration Begin

Kick off the season at Villa Bellezza’s Outdoor Christmas Market, with events in shops and restaurants across all five Villages.

Nov. 23rd & 24th: Thankful For The Season – Share Your Thankfulness

Donate at shops throughout the five Villages to help families in need. Funds will be administered by Pepin Area Schools and the Pepin Area Food Shelf.

  • Sandy’s (Nov. 23rd): Shop the GIVE BACK RACK—all proceeds go to the local food bank.
